Review:
Oh, how I wish that was back in his cage, with my mirror, and my little bell Jesse Eisenberg should always be grateful that the Oscar-nominated The Social Network was released in Rio. This is because his voice to Blu, the parrot is so amazing and perfect that I think he will always be Blu. And if Rio would be months was published, the world's audience might think that Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder, his cage, mirrors and bells missed. Now, about the movie itself? Location, location, location. The fact that the Rio movie, without (pulsating, colorful, lush, romantic) Rio, the city? The story is nice, though predictable. The characters are cardboard, even if the 3D and lightweight. But predictable and cardboard is the worst name I could possibly associate with Rio. Rio deal is that I laughed all the way through it, just like everyone else who theater.Blu, the last male of his kind, is the happiest era, outside in a snowy town with Linda, his nerdy owners. Jewel, the last female of their kind, lives in Brazil, and it is the saddest parrot imprisoned in a cage and fight for their freedom. She is a free spirited soul with the world at her feet. Blu has lived a peaceful life, rather than fly, and loves every minute of it. What happens when they meet? Anyone over the age of 7 can not guess how it ends (at the age of 5, when hes in to see the trailer). But there is so much joy from the first until the last minute that you do not want to end.I was one of the lucky few, the premiere of Rio in Rio to see, and at this point I can not wait to see them again. Brazilian Carlos Saldanha, director of the film, and it shows.
