Review:
Catch the preview screening of the film tonight in NYC. I am 26 years old now, so I was in the 8th grade when the original came out.Thought the first two were wonderful, but I thought that the third notably away from what made the first two special. (A little too Stifler.) American Pie 4, when I saw the preview, I was glad to see them all back together, but I do not know what to expect. I know Hollywood loves sequels to kill and I do not know how they are going to create a story line of the characters that really havent been together forever.Fear not. I did this movie was almost as good as the original. Two hours of non-stop cracking up, but none of it was forced. They are all the characters, but that does not seem to be mixed or original. It was about 2 hours and 15 minutes long, but more than once I think it was dragging. They did a nice job explaining where everyone was and did not really seem to awkward.The the best part of it is, the story is about the original five guys around the world, and their relations with women and sex in the current conditions (31). Everyone has their own problems (as well as married, have children, hate your job, hate your life, etc.), and the film is kind of about all of them to resolve their meeting over the weekend course. The American Pie which is the most similar over the first. All the couples in high school (oz / Heather, Kevin / Vicky Jim / Michelle) re-Regions her past feelings.Another great thing about the film is that the character is written Stiflers back to American Pie 1 and 2 style, which I liked. There is no over-bearing as a wedding. Kevin, Finch (and Oz) plays a much bigger role than they have done they have done third.There some new characters, but none of them are annoying and take a lot of history, all the parts are well cast. Jims dad and mom Stiflers is a hilarious screen together. Jims Dad fun he had ever had, but again, not over the top way. In general, it is well-written, well-rounded movie with a good plot twists. Tons of links too old films. Literally, all the dark characters of the first two do some point.BOTTOM LINE appearance: 9/10. If you are from the U.S. Pie films (especially 1 and 2) you love this movie fan. Worth $.
