The story of King George VI of Britain in his impromptu ascension to the throne and the speech therapist who helped the unsure monarch will be worth it.
Review:
This is how the biopic of King George VI, father of Queen Elizabeth II, overcame his stuttering problem. Many have everything, but her father, King George is not appropriate reluctantly forces to the throne, and in the spotlight after his brother was forced to close. Visitors to the world stage, a powerful orators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini, the King relies on the help of a little-known Australian speech therapist named Lionel Logue to find his voice and boldly lead his people in the war more devastating humanity has ever faced. It is a powerful, funny and touching story, told in a critical context in modern history, the birth of a deep friendship with the professional relationship between two men who would otherwise have interacted socially. Manuscript, which is written by David Seidler (who also wrote Tucker: The Man and His Dream), is excellent. The dry British wit is hilarious. I was literally a slap on the knee during some scenes. Tom Hooper (Elizabeth I) does an excellent job directing this film. Accumulation final highlight is expertly executed, and asked the audience to lead to a round of spontaneous applause. (Apparently, it also happened to Roy Thomson Hall premiere.) Geoffrey Rush (Elizabeth: The Golden Age) is doing a fantastic job as Lionel Logue and Colin Firth (Single Man) as King George is a great VI.I Sh already the second public screening of the film during the Festival Ryerson Theatre Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Tom Hooper was on hand to present the film. He joined Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, after the film has ended a short Q & A.It It turns out that David Seidler also had a stuttering problem as a child, inspired by the king of the fight. Early in his career, he wanted to write a screenplay about it. She dutifully asked permission of the Queen Mother. He agreed, but said it was not in my life. Little did he know that he would have to live to 101, and that would have to wait another 30 years.Another interesting tidbit we learned was near the end of filming, the crew finally located one of Lionel Logues grandchildren, who just happened to so , live about 10 minutes away from the director. They have access to Lionel diaries and letters, and managed to add some script. This this film is incompetent to see.
