Review:
Shaun of the Dead is a pretty amazing piece of work and brilliant I suspect getting the recognition instant cult status as the word of mouth snowballs film deserved recognition.Simon Pegg, both writer and main star of joint film, was a comic force for some time, particularly in the Hippies fantastic BBC2 series (which, inexplicably, bombed in the ratings) and 4 cult series spaces Channel . Both programs mentioned Pegg outgoing as dead pan comic (and writing), which comes to full fruition in Shaun of the Dead.In conclusion, this movie is a comedy Rome , ICTs with zombies (or Zom-rom-com) that appear without clear reason (although they offer some interesting insights.) The film is an extraordinary blend of fun, violent and poignant.Pegg was released as a hell of a big loser in this film. And not the American way: I'm a loser, but I work on TV Jennifer Aniston as my wife kind of loser as portrayed in Bruce Almighty as Trip or dozens of other films loser States. Pegg Shaun is a real loser and recognizable as well, he is a man who works every day for a retail electric and your life is just boring and disappointing - and that's where the comedy comes across in this film. There are two scenes in the film that seems to summarize it (and a light of Simon Pegg as a writer very clever and funny) and Shaun both scenes involve simply walking to a corner store nearby. The first time Shaun Manca semi-comatose in the store, just feel it's a loser. However, by the time the film shows that do the same trip again realize that there is much more going on! The scene is reproduced with such exquisite subtlety that should be one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen in a movie! Not that the film is thin, however, there is an incredible variety of visual humor, liners and (best of all), some other digs horror movies genre. The most fun to be subtle snipe at Boyle `28 Days Later - see if you can spot the only problem with the analysis of this film is that there are so many funny moments in which it is difficult to choose any free writing ruin! the film. All I can say is that I can not remember a film already be present consistently fun with probably five or six times loud bad. It was a joy to the eye and my only disappointment is that I can not watch this movie for the first time - the whole approach will always be a repeat viewing. Shaun of the Dead is not much at all - but the language from the beginning is strong and that the violence was pretty amazing for a film of 15 certificates (in the UK). This film is definitely going to be appreciated by fans of horror who know a large catalog of horror films. It will also be appreciated by children (that filled the cinema when I saw that movie, it was great, as they laughed louder). Finally, I have some criticism about this film is that there is some talent wasted in the film. Black Books (Channel Four) stars Dylan Moran seemed a bit "lost and so was Martin Freeman (The Office of BBC2) - it would make a scary zombie! Also, put Matt Lucas (Little Britain for BBC3) in this film? I do not know how I was laughing a lot, maybe! These problems are, however, so small and can be easily forgiven. My suggestion is to go slowly and mix to your local cinema to see this movie and Simon Pegg giving the money and the recognition it deserves so you can go ahead and do more movies that are so well understood that that UK newspapers have proposed as his next project - `From Dusk Till Shaun.
